well it has yet to be mentioned in the Conan side of the show. i just started the franchise in March 2022 and i'm already up to ep 1023 and movie 24. although i've got it on-hold right now till i catch up on my weekly anime. i had to take 2 weeks off because my normal PC broke. i needed to reassemble and update my backup PC that i hadn't used in over 5 years. maybe that fingerprint thing comes up in the episodes of Conan that were entirely for/with Kid (i haven't gotten to those yet) or the Magic Kaito 1412 series (i haven't gotten to that either).

i was so gagged when they re-arranged the name and it spelled kaito kid. i literally gasped, that was so smart! i did not expect to see him in this episode at all.

btw, this episode marks the end of season 5, congrats to everyone who made it to the end of 5th season!!!!!

He was Kaito from the start, he's been shown to be a master of disguises and he can also change his voice at will. There was no other person, Doito Katsuki was entirely made up. And yep, he's been with them all along.

yeah i figured that on my 2nd rewatch it's really insane to think he was there and no one knew! i love kaito kid so much, he's so mysterious...
